Coalition for Individuals Aging in Place
Helping older adults maintain their independence.
CIAP is a nonprofit that empowers seniors to age in place safely and independently, in the homes and communities they love.

What Is Aging in Place
Staying home, on your own terms.
Aging in place means staying in the comfort of your own home while maintaining independence as you grow older. For most older adults, home is where life happens: family, routines, neighbors, memories.
Staying there rarely comes down to one decision. It takes the right help at the right moment, across health, home, finances, and connection, and those needs keep changing as the years go on.
Most families discover their options only in a crisis, after a fall or a diagnosis. CIAP exists so no one has to figure it out alone, or for the first time, under pressure.
Our Impact
Small numbers, real people.
We are early, and we would rather show you exactly where we are than round it up. Every number here is someone we have actually helped.

Raised for the mission
From events, vehicle donations, and direct giving
Our goal is to impact the lives of no fewer than 10 million older adults by 2030. We are at the beginning of that road, and every gift and every partner moves it forward.
What CIAP Is
A concierge for aging in place, not a vendor.
CIAP doesn’t sell products, install equipment, or provide care. We are an independent nonprofit coalition that helps older adults and their families figure out what they need, then connects them to trusted providers who deliver it, from occupational therapists and contractors to home technology companies like MyIntel.
Because we aren’t selling anything, our only interest is what is genuinely right for you.
